The Apprentice ratings declined episode to episode. Got a spike when they switched to the burn out, insignificant, possibly deranged celebrity version and then right back to decline; last episode attracted ~6m viewers. In Trump’s favor, the show had what you can call Fake Trump and was cheap to produce.

All of which is to say, declining ratings should be no surprise.

Meanwhile, I’m amazed that the people on the stage with Donnie (failing to do that social distancing thing so Donnie can have a backdrop he likes) are doing such an awesome job that they have ~3 hours a day to waste on this sick crap.

the most amazing part abt Apprentice ratings were that Trump demanded NBC *still* issue press releases claiming it was top 10 rated show, even when it had fallen to No. 30.

30 with ~6m viewers with a reality show budget is profitable enough, and there were foreign licensing fees. On the other, 6m is a crap number as a lead in.

But what do I know? I found it unwatchable but OTOH, I’ve had a complete Lack of respect for Trump since the mid-70s, finding himself repellant, well, scumbag. And 1989 with the CP5 lynching (and still no apology*) just locked in my opinion — which, I might add, has yet to be proven wrong. Now that I think about it, I’m probably an OG Trump hater.

(*Donnie’s racism may be related to or with the fact his house was the last in the neighborhood to paint over the lawn jockey white. OTOH, by that time in the late 70s or so, old Fred was probably the last bund member in the neighborhood. (That he was is my own spurious rumor based on historic fact and the complete absence of any proof I’m wrong.)
