Veteran, Patriot, just wanted to voice her opinion, interviewing the grandfather on GMA to hear him tell how she was just someone that loved her country. That’s how the media is portraying the woman that died when shot during the insurrection. Not how she was trying to break through the window of a barricaded door to a secure location in the Capital building. Not how she was for years posting hateful comments on social media. Nope, they are making her a Martyr, because apparently they still have not learned anything about covering Trump and the disease he spreads.

I was in the US Army, Combat Engineer, and I don’t recall making an oath to try and take over the Capitol building. I don’t remember signing my name on the dotted line to prevent the transition of power in an election. She has my sympathy for dying, but maybe the media could cool it on honoring people like her and what she did.

She has no sympathy from me. After all, if she'd just obeyed the police, she'd have been fine, right?

BS. I have no pity for her, nor her family. She was ex military that was taught how to fight these situations in other countries. How the hell did she ever consider this as the right thing to do. How does her family find an excuse. Now, if they want to go down the road of "mentally ill, disabled" that might gain "some" sympathy. Otherwise. Nada from me and my family. She knew better. Falling under the spell of another, is not the "normal" for citizens. Yes, it happens but it is not normal.

Money : she was a “patriot” all right ! If we we are to consider a Q Anon follower capable of truly being patriotic as I’ve know it to be described for over 75 years.
